Traffic fatalities

This is the Yamatake Police Station Traffic Division.

At around 7:30 p.m. on April 17, an elderly woman was killed in a fatal traffic accident when her car collided with an elderly woman in Chokuregami, Yokoshibamitsu-cho, Yamatake-gun.

Traffic accidents tend to occur more frequently from dusk to night, and although the road where the accident occurred has streetlights, it is a dimly lit road.

The Chiba Prefectural Police is conducting a 3 ・ light campaign.
This campaign is to
1 ． light （ front light ） ： turn on the light early and switch on frequently
2 ． light ・ up （ stand out ） ： reflective material, LED
3 ． Lights （ Right ） ： Watch out for crossers from the right
This campaign aims to prevent traffic accidents by promoting three types of lights.

If you are driving a car, please obey the speed, check safety carefully, and drive safely.

Pedestrians should also make use of reflective materials, LED lights, etc. to protect themselves from traffic accidents and make their presence known to motorists to prevent traffic accidents.

Traffic accidents can be reduced by your awareness.
